Harry Potter Head Canons

The Potterverse as I see it

Some Head Canons are serious and some are just for fun and would probably never happen. Ever.

All Head Canons belong to me unless stated otherwise

Head Canon #239: When Fred Weasley II was a child he was asked the question that all adults ask little children at some point, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. He would always answer “Fred”. The adults would laugh and pat him on the head, they thought he didn’t fully understand the question or just wanted to be himself. In truth Fred II wanted to be just like his Uncle Fred. —

Head Canon #238: Ron and Crookshanks never did become friends, they both fought tooth and nail against each other for Hermione’s attention. But Ron cried harder than Hermione when ‘that damned beast’ died. —

Head Canon #237: Much like Draco Malfoy, Pansy regretted her actions at Hogwarts. She even wrote Harry a letter apologizing for offering him up to Voldemort. She was just a scared girl acting as she was taught to. —

Head Cannon #236: Lily had secretly wanted to be a Hufflepuff, after all nobody suspected the quiet House. She would have been able to get away with anything! Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can hide from the Sorting Hat and he wisely placed her in Slytherin. —

Submitted Head Canon #005: Rowena actually had two children. Helena and Gwendolyn Ravenclaw were Rowena’s twin daughters. She treated Helena way better than Gwendolyn, so Gwen always felt hated. She tried to give a present to her mother, but Rowena rejected it and hid it the Room of Requirement. Gwendolyn then ran away and changed her last name to Erised. Gwendolyn’s present to her mother was the Mirror of Erised. —

Head Canon #235: Harry assured everyone that his scar stopped hurting him after the war, and physically it did. What he never told them was every time he saw the faded scar in the mirror he remembered everyone he had lost, everyone who had died for him and for the Light and it hurt. It hurt him more than words could explain. —

Head Canon #234: Draco once told his son that, “Malfoy’s do not simply ‘enter’ places, we swagger into them.” —

Head Canon #233: Lily always thought of Teddy as her eldest brother, from the time when she was a toddler following him around like a devoted puppy to the day she died. —

Head Canon #232: Ron knew he loved Hermione the moment he realized that he would rather listen to her talk about some obscure subject than eat. —

Head Canon #231: Before Thomas Riddle Sr. died, he regretted not being there for his son. He was going to try and make things right, but by then it was too late. —
